FAQ

Questions we actually get asked.

Everything about the modules, integrations, pricing, compliance, and how it all fits together.

thimble hub

Thimble Hub is a modular suite of telehealth infrastructure products: Thimble Sites, Thimble Cart, and Thimble Portal. Use one, use two, or use all three without getting locked into a single ecosystem.
Primarily: telehealth companies selling GLP-1s and prescription programs. Also: clinics, supplement brands, wellness programs, hybrid models, and any team that needs conversion + compliance + flexibility.
No, and that's the point. We're not trying to replace your stack. We're the pieces that are typically the most painful (checkout/intake, sites, portal) and we're built to integrate cleanly with whatever you already use.
Yes. Most teams start with the biggest leak:
  • Need conversion + intake done right? Start with Cart
  • Need trust + performance + SEO? Start with Sites
  • Need retention + patient experience? Start with Portal
Yes. Start with what you need now, then expand when it's working. We keep the stack clean so growth doesn't require a rebuild.
No. Use the provider network(s), EHR, CRM, and tools you want. We're built for interoperability.
No. We're infrastructure. You run your clinical operations and prescribing workflows through your clinicians and provider partners.
  1. 1.Build your stack (choose modules + plans)
  2. 2.Checkout + compliance (including BAA when applicable)
  3. 3.Launch (Cart deployments can go live in ~12 days)

thimble cart

Thimble Cart is a telehealth-first checkout system: plan chooser + Rx-ready intake + checkout + routing + tracking, integrated into your stack.
Most platforms treat checkout as a utility. We treat it like a conversion product. The difference is in:
  • intake experience (done properly)
  • flexibility (custom flows without platform lock-in)
  • real integrations (not exports)
  • iteration speed (marketing can move without waiting months)
Yes. Telehealth selling prescription programs requires real intake. Cart starts at a premium baseline for a reason.
Yes. We can build intake using your preferred tool (or one we recommend), as long as it supports the logic and data handling required.
Yes. Subscriptions, one-time, memberships, add-ons, bundles, program tiers. Cart is designed for modern offers.
Yes.
Yes.
Most teams use Stripe, but we can support other processors depending on requirements.
Yes. Cart can be embedded or linked as a standalone flow.
Yes. We wire tracking into the flow so you can see where drop-off happens and what's working (depending on your analytics stack and compliance constraints).
Yes. We can route data and workflows based on your operational logic.
Speed depends on:
  • offer structure decisions (plans, pricing, rules)
  • integration access/credentials
  • timely approvals and feedback
That's normal. We design Cart so you can iterate quickly without rebuilding the flow.

Support

Support varies by your plan and is defined in your agreement. Some plans include only baseline support, while others include priority response times and included hours.
Yes. Support add-ons can include:
  • included support hours each month
  • defined SLAs (response time targets)
  • escalation paths for urgent issues
  • coverage up to 24/7, depending on tier
Yes, on higher support tiers for P1 urgent issues, we can provide sub-1 hour response times with 24/7 coverage.
Additional work outside included support (or outside scope) is billable at our standard hourly rate, unless otherwise agreed.
Yes. SLA terms depend on plan and support tier (and can be expanded for mission-critical operations).
A P1 is typically something like:
  • checkout down / unable to transact
  • intake flow broken for most users
  • severe integration outage blocking fulfillment
  • a security incident or high-risk vulnerability

(Exact definitions live in the agreement.)

Compliance, Security & BAA

We support HIPAA-aligned architecture and operational practices, and we sign a BAA when applicable. Compliance is shared: you have responsibilities too.
Typically during onboarding / checkout for workflows involving PHI, before production access is granted.
If Sites is purely marketing with no PHI, typically no. If PHI is collected (forms/portal/clinical workflows), yes.

Integrations & Technical

Find the full list on our integrations page.
No, we plug in to your team. If you have custom systems, we may need help for credentials, API access, and validation.
